How It Started

The tale of George and Jeannine began at Shermans drugstore. Jeannine was a cashier and George would come in daily to purchase the paper, giving Jeannine a dollar bill instead of giving her the quarter that the paper cost (so he could spend a few more minutes with her). His perpetual visits to the store would eventually blossom into a relationship. After just 3 months of dating and 6 months of engagement, the couple exchanged wedding vows on December 15, 1973. Fifty years later they are still in love and have two sons and 5 grandchildren.
